Do I need any previous knowledge to join a group?

The amount of knowledge you need depends on the course you want to join. For example, to join a French course of B1 level, you will need to have already an A2 level. If you don’t have any knowledge, please join an A1 level course.

How do I register for a group course?

To register for a course, please go to the page of the course you want to do. Then click on the corresponding link to pre-register for the course. Enter the necessary information on the contact form and we will be in touch soon to provide you with all the details.

Why do I need to pre-register?

Pre-registration is necessary to confirm your interest and for us to create the group. All group courses are subject to sufficient numbers of students registering before they are confirmed as running. As soon as the number of students is confirmed (4 minimum) the teacher will send you the registration form and the information to start the first session.

The course has already started. Can I still join?

If a course is not full by the start date then late entrants will be accepted for up to two weeks after the start of the course. As a late entrant, you can choose to catch up on the material you have missed (all documents will be provided by the teacher) or you can skip the missed sessions and concentrate on the material at the point where you join the course. Unfortunately we cannot offer fee reductions or course extensions for late entrants.

I missed a session. Can I catch up on an extra one?

All our courses follow a predefined syllabus and run only once within a trimester. We therefore cannot offer a catch up session, sorry. You will however receive all documents provided by the teacher as usual.

How old are the learners in the group courses?

Group courses are designed for adults of all ages (18+).

How many people participate in the group course?

We aim to offer only small group courses to maximise discussion and answer any questions. Group courses are always between a minimum of 4 and a maximum of 6 participants.

Can I register my child for individual lessons?

Yes, of course you can. Please give us as much information as you can for the teacher to prepare the session.

Will I receive a certificate at the end of my course?

Yes, at the end of the course you will receive a certificate of attendance with the subject and level of the course you participated in.

Do I need to use special equipment for the classes? 

We recommend the use of a headset and a webcam for a better experience during the virtual sessions. If you are using the computer's built-in microphone, we will ask you to mute the microphone if the environment is too noisy.

When will I receive my Zoom link to join the course?

Your teacher will send you the Zoom link and all the information for the first session after you have returned the registration form and paid for the course.

I can no longer attend the course. Can I get a refund?

No, sorry but we do not give refunds.
